Breakfast with Mickey and Friends at Topolino’s Terrace

Looking for a good character breakfast? Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort is viewed by many as the best character dining on Disney property. Keep in mind that characters are only available at Breakfast.

Mouse Watcher for Reservations

Reservations take a lot of work to come by, so check the My Disney Experience app often for availability. My family and I could only snag a reservation by paying $5 for a website called Mouse Watcher; I highly recommend checking it out for any Disney restaurants you have difficulty getting a reservation for. All you have to do is put in the restaurant, date, and time frame you want, and they will send text messages and email alerts until you have the reservation you wish to.

Characters at Topolino’s Terrace

The four characters you can meet are Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy. They are all dressed up as jobs related to the arts, with Mickey as a painter, Minnie as a poet, Donald as a sculptor, and Daisy as a dancer. They come to each table individually, and you’ll see each character twice. Each table receives a super cute card with the four characters in their artistic garb, with their signatures on the back.

Atmosphere

The atmosphere of Topolino’s Terrace is slightly upscale. Attractive chandeliers hanging from the ceilings and large windows give you a great view.

Our Breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace

Breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 12:15 pm. Every table starts with pastries like muffins and croissants in a paint bucket. It has three spreads: a Nutella-like spread, butter, and jam. You can also start your meal with a cocktail. The choices are a classic mimosa, a classic bellini, or the Riviera bloody mary. The peace repose contains peach mint, lemon, and soda water for non-alcoholic drinks.

Cost of Visit

An adult at Topolino’s Terrace costs $49 and $30 for children 9 or under. There are options for everyone on the menu. My mom and I got the vegan veggie scramble and enjoyed it! My sister also liked the breading pudding brulee. There are a variety of other options as well.

If you want to see the entire menu, check out this link! We can’t talk about Topolino’s Terrace without talking about the Terrace! There is seating, and you can enjoy your cocktail outside. You get a lovely view of the Carribean Beach resort and the skyliners. You can also see the Swan and Dolphin resorts. This is a beautiful spot to view the Epcot fireworks at night!

Overall Thoughts of Topolino’s Terrace

So, is Topolino’s Terrace worth it? It is, especially if you have young children or love the characters. The food quality is above average compared to many other restaurants on property, and you can enjoy the Terrace. It is perfect if you’re looking for a slightly more upscale character dining experience at a moderate price!
