Imagine stepping into a world of excitement and wonder at Epcot, the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. This extraordinary theme park offers thrilling rides and educational experiences all in one place. On Sunday Morning, my family and I got to experience some of the most popular rides at Epcot: Guardian of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, Soarin’, Frozen Ever After, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Here is how to have the best time at Epcot.
Guardian of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind
As a big fan of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, I am always thrilled to ride Cosmic Rewind. That morning I got up early and made sure that I was ready to secure a spot on the virtual Queue. Virtual Queue sign-up for cosmic rewind starts at 7 am on the My Disney Experience app. If you want to increase your chances of securing a ride in the morning, I suggest that you have the app ready and open before 6:59 am. Make sure your party is pre-selected and all you must do is refresh. Start hitting the refresh button repeatedly 15 seconds before 7 am. Disney app is aligned with the Cell time on your cell phone.
We were fortunate enough to get Board Group 77. We rope-dropped Epcot that morning so we were already in line waiting to enter the park at around 8:45 am. Right before 9 am, our boarding group was called so we walked briskly over to Guardians. We did not have to wait in line at all. We walked straight into the first pre-show. It was a wonderful start to an awesome day!

Picking up our AP Magnets
After riding Cosmic Rewind, we headed to the Creations shop to pick up our Annual Pass magnets anddo a little shopping. This month they are handing out Figment Magnets. These will be available for pick up only at Epcot from the Creations shop from 9am-9pm until June 30th.
Aside from picking up your AP magnet, creations a huge Disney Merchandise store. Everything you need in order to show how big of a Disney fan you are is here. From Mickey/Minnie ears, shirts, Mugs, and 100’s of other keepsake items you can buy to remember your time here at Disney World.

Soarin’ Around the World
Next, we decided to head over to Soarin’ Around the World. There was only a 20-minute posted wait time but it was really a walk-on. Soarin’ took my breath away with its breathtaking simulation of hang gliding over iconic landmarks. From the moment I was lifted off the ground, I felt like I was truly soaring through the air. The feeling of wind in my hair and the stunning views of the Great Wall of China, the African savannah, and the Swiss Alps wereawe-inspiring. The attention to detail and the magical soundtrack made me feel like I was part of something extraordinary. Even the smell changes throughout the ride.
This attraction is a must in my opinion and is appropriate for anyone. However, it does lift you up and the simulation does make it seem like you are higher than normal. If you have someone in your party that is really afraid of heights, they just might need a heads-up. I personally am very afraid of heights, but the seat handles and seatbelt made me feel very secure. Although I was a little nervous, I have enough experience at theme parks to know that Safety is Disney’s top priority for their guests.
Frozen Ever After
As we began to eat around the world, we made a stop in Norway. Norway is home to one of the most popular attractions at Epcot, Disney’s Frozen Ever After. We had a lightning lane from 12:10 pm which was handy because the wait time posted was 85 minutes. We joined Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and their friends on a magical boat ride. Frozen Ever After is a delightful journey through the wintry kingdom of Arendelle, featuring iconic scenes and beloved songs from the movie. As you glide through the Frozen landscape, you’ll encounter charming animatronic characters and experience the magic of Elsa’s icy powers. The ride’s captivating visuals, catchy tunes, and heartwarming storytelling make it a fantastic choice for fans of all ages.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
As we continued our trek around the world showcase, we had to make another ride stop. We had a lightning lane for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. This ride may be just as, if not more popular than Frozen. Inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Ratatouille, this attraction shrinks you down to the size of a rat and invites you into the culinary world of Chef Remy. Hop on a “ratmobile” and scurry through Gusteau’s restaurant, navigating through oversized food and dodging obstacles along the way. The ride utilizes 3D projection technology, physical sets, and immersive special effects to bring the vibrant world of Ratatouille to life. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is just a fun, whimsical, and lighthearted experience that is appropriate for any age group.
Epcot is home to a wide array of thrilling rides, each offering its own unique adventure. From Guardian of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind to classic favorites like Soarin’, Frozen Ever After, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, these attractions are designed to delight and captivate visitors of all ages. Whether you’re seeking high-speed thrills or immersive storytelling, Epcot has something for everyone. So, the next time you visit this Epcot, make sure to check out these popular rides to have the best time.
